Birkenstock partnered with Hexa right from the start, from setting up of the website to presence across social channels, creating pre-launch buzz and driving significant online sales through a mix of paid, social media, and organic marketing.

Pre-lauch buzz

Though Birkenstock is a globally acclaimed footwear brand, it was still fairly unknown in India. And our first step was to create prelaunch awareness. We helped Birkenstock run a lead generation and brand awareness contest leading to participation of 13000+.

Launched the online store, and created presence across platforms

In this phase we continued educating and familiarizing the audience about the brand’s legendary footbed and its 250 + years of rich heritage. The launch spanned over a period of 7 days during which Birkenstock leveraged a mix of paid ads across Google, Facebook, Instagram, OTTs and organic social media marketing across channels. Birkenstock saw a rapid increase in website sales and customer engagement. The launch period saw us deliver a overall RoAS of 16+ in the 7-day launch window.

The momentum quickly changed from awareness to conversions. We ran campaigns across all major platforms including but not limited to: Google Ad's, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Tabola, and across OTT platforms.

Birkenstock was successfully launched on Myntra, Tata Cliq, Tata Cliq Premium and premium footwear marketplaces like Veg-Non-Veg and Superkicks, resulting in a 14+ ROAS across marketplaces.

Our focussed approach to realize conversion objectives of Birkenstock saw a great response in terms of significant ROAS, rapidly and consistently growing online sales, and a customer return rate of 20% indicating high brand perception.

At present Birkenstock India ranks 5th among all the 35 nations it is selling the product. An over whelming result considering Birkenstock Germany & USA have existed for 275 & 50 + years respectively.
